Adventureland.
So I just watched Adventureland (2008). My roommate told me she had just watched it and that I couldn’t tell her boyfriend cause he’d make fun of her. I had actually never really heard anything about it so I looked it up on IMDB. I watched it because of Bill Hader. She watched it because of Kristen Wiig.
I was pretty surprised by it. I mean, the story line was completely predictable but that never bothers me too much in these types of movies. I had a lot of empathy for Kristen Stewart’s character and I think she did a really good job. And Jesse Eisenberg’s characters are always so adorable. And of course, Bill Hader. Especially in the “breaking the law” scene when he goes psycho and chases the dude with the bat and goes back to work like nothing weird just happened. Perf. And finally, Ry Reynolds is always cute. Always.
By the way, this is me at my shallowest. No judging.
